Phillip Acres Named to EKU's Spring 2014 President's List

Phillip E. Acres of Berea is one of 1,177 students to earn President's List honors for the Spring 2014 semester at Eastern Kentucky University.

Acres is a senior Homeland Security major at EKU.

The President's List was established by the University to recognize outstanding academic achievement. It is bestowed upon full-time undergraduate students who attain a perfect 4.0 grade point average for a semester.

"We are always pleased to recognize all our outstanding students," EKU President Michael Benson said, "especially those who excel in the classroom to the point of perfection."

Eastern Kentucky University is a comprehensive university serving approximately 15,500 students on its 725-acre Richmond campus, at its educational centers in Corbin, Danville, Manchester, Somerset and Lancaster, throughout Kentucky, and through its EKU Online courses.
